Shireinu Volume II - Recording Project
This year, Transcontinental Music Publications was thrilled to publish Shireinu Volume II, a second edition of what some call the “Jewish music bible.” I was honored to be asked to record several demo recordings of songs featured in Shireinu II to help folks learn the newly published material. You can find the entire playlist on Spotify here, and purchase your copy of Shireinu Volume II here!
Hashkiveinu - A New Liturgical Composition
A lead sheet for my debut liturgical folk piece, Hashkiveinu, is available for download here! You can also find a video of the piece here. I look forward to sharing more of my Jewish compositions soon. If you would like to commission me to write one, please contact me directly.
Camp Havaya - My Summer Home
In summer 2024, I began a new journey at Camp Havaya, the Reconstructionist Jewish overnight camp in Pennsylvania, as the Head Songleader! I am already gearing up for my third summer, which will be my 8th in total songleading at Jewish summer camp. I would be thrilled to support any individual songleaders looking to sharpen their skills, camps looking to give their music program a lift, or folks who are in need of a songleader for a family camp, congregational retreat, etc. Please email me at hannah.g@tkiya.org to learn more!
Flashback and Marie - Sophomore Singles
After the success of my debut EP, I spent the year working on more music and have begun recording my sophomore EP. You can now listen to the first two singles, Flashback and Marie, on all streaming platforms. If you’d like to donate to the record, click here. Your support means the world! Stay tuned for more coming in 2026.
Top 6 All-Star - Jewish Star Competition
I was selected out of almost 150 submissions as a top 6 Jewish All-Star for the Jewish Star program through Jewish Rock Radio. The program has given me the opportunity to receive free sound equipment, mentorship by leaders of the Jewish music industry, and additional professional development opportunities. To see my winning video submission, click here.
Live Performances - New York, New York
I frequently play shows in the NYC area, featuring both original indie-pop tunes and covers by my favorite female artists. Past venues include Rockwood Music Hall, The Bowery Electric, Arlene’s Grocery, Brooklyn Music Kitchen, Heaven Can Wait, The Delancey, Berlin Under A, Connolly’s Klub, and Silvana Harlem. To stay up to date on all my shows, follow me on Instagram!
Second to None - Debut EP
My debut EP, Second to None, is available on all streaming platforms! I wrote the music and lyrics for all five songs, and worked alongside Ethan Gueldenzopf (producer, musician, mix engineer) and Carl Bespolka (assoc. producer, musician, mastering engineer) at Golden Girl Sound in Brooklyn, NY. Listen to Second to None on Spotify, Apple Music, Youtube, and more.
Ceilidh - in Assoc. w/ Goodspeed Musicals
I had the privilege of participating in Harttfest: a two-week new musical workshop produced in association with Goodspeed Musicals. I played Granny McLavaney and a Storyteller in the world premiere reading of Ceilidh, a musical by Scottish writing team Noisemaker (Scott Gilmour and Claire McKenzie), directed by Kate Golledge, assistant directed by Alice Eklund, and musical directed by Christopher Poon.
Far From The Tree - An Original Musical
18 Hartt Theatre students and two faculty members set out to create a completely original musical, specifically meant to be filmed in the midst of a mostly virtual semester. I had the privilege of not only writing several songs for the show, but also playing the principal role of Audrey Turner. For footage from the show, check out the playlist on my YouTube Channel.
