Get to know me.

Hey! I’m Hannah (she/her/hers). I’m a New York based singer-songwriter, Jewish educator, and actor who strives to create and share music and tell stories that move, inspire, and leave an impact on the world around us.

I grew up immersed in musical theatre by my two actor/director/educator parents, my sights set on performing from a young age. Throughout the years, my love for theatre, music, and storytelling grew me into a multi-hyphenate artist, dipping my toe into directing, choreographing, and most notably songwriting. I am a multi-style composer, ranging from indie-pop to musical theatre to Jewish liturgical folk. I am also deeply passionate about cultivating a future in which fat, queer, disabled artists like myself feel a sense of belonging in music, theatre, and dance spaces, and welcome any projects that put these values at the forefront of the work.

After graduating with a BFA in Music Theatre from The Hartt School in Connecticut, I moved to New York City to continue my professional career. I am thrilled to currently be the Program Director at Tkiya Music, bringing joyful Jewish education and participatory music experiences to people of all ages across greater NYC and beyond. My specialties in the field of Jewish music include: early childhood curriculum, summer camp music, songleader training, program consulting and development, meaningful tefilah for all ages, and communal singing that explores themes of hope, justice, and the light in each of us.

In my free time, you can find me watching my favorite sitcoms, at my favorite queer bars, and spending deeply cherished time with my chosen family. And during the summer, you can find me tucked away in the Poconos serving as the Head Songleader at Camp Havaya. Thanks for checking out my site!
